Volunteer

There are many ways you can give your time at Marymead, and we thank you for being willing to do so! Consider one of the following options, and give Marymead a call to discuss further. If you have a skill or a way you would like to help that is not listed, please let us know! We could not do our work without the help of our local community.

  • Become a Foster Carer or Respite Carer
  • Volunteer with Kids' Companions (A Marymead Host Family Program) for children affected by a disability. Children spend recreational time with volunteers, either in the volunteer's home, or in a community or group setting. Can you provide small time-slots for a child to share some activities and build a friendship?
  • Lend your office administration or other skills
  • Join or help the Marymead Auxiliary, an important committee that organises fundraisers and social events to help Marymead
  • Give your time in helping to maintain our vast grounds or general maintenance
