While undertaking my Diploma of Youth Work and Community Services, I started working as a residential youth worker, caring for highly traumatised young people in their homes.
After a number of years I became Team Leader of the residential service and then soon after was promoted to Area Manager. Since commencing work at Marymead late 2012, I have carried out a number of roles including Weekend Team Leader – managing after hours issues relating to the Out of Home Care programs, Development Manager working as part of the organisational development team and Program Manager of the Adolescent Residential program. I have recently taken on a new role as the Unit Manager, Coordination and Support Services.
