Fathering After Separation

Marymead Child and Family Centre is pleased to be able to share both the Fathering After Separation manual and the Fathering After Separation Train the Trainer package with you.

With the challenges currently facing fathers who are separated from their children, this program is especially relevant. In the context of placing the needs of children first, Fathering After Separation provides a program that encourages fathers to explore the parenting issues that confront them, and to examine both their values and the way they communicate within their own family.

The Train the Trainer package provides a step-by-step guide for trainers to enable prospective group leaders to become familiar with both the philosophy that underpins the Fathering After Separation Manual, and with the course content.

We hope that you find these programs of great assistance in your work with fathers and would welcome your feedback.

Marymead Family Skills for Men provides group work programs for fathers after seperation.
