New Horizons

Marymead's New Horizons Program is a free confidential mental health early intervention outreach support service for children and young people, 0 to 18 years, who are showing signs of or are at risk of developing mental illness, and their families and carers.

Life can be hard when you or someone you care about is struggling.

New Horizons will:

  • Come to where you want to meet
  • Provide support, counselling and connections
  • Talk about what matters to you
  • Help you connect with and stay connected to others  

For Young People

  • We can help you explore your life choices
  • Talk about what matters to you
  • Assist you with improving your relationships

For Parents and Families

  • We can help you work through issues
  • We will work with the whole family in mind
  • We can support you to build healthy family relationships

Operating hours are 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday (except public holidays). We can meet with you outside of these hours by appointment. New Horizons services the ACT and Queanbeyan areas.
