Access Days
Marymead Autism Centre is grateful for the businesses in the Canberra community who have embraced inclusive practices and have agreed to hold Access Days.
Autism Connect
Autism Connect is Australia’s first national autism helpline.
Discovering Autism
Marymead Autism Centre's, "Discovering Autism" workshop is for parents, carers and relatives of kids aged 7 to 12 years.
Dungeons & Dragons
Dungeons & Dragons is a role-playing game that has many benefits such as encouraging teamwork, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving and develops social skills in a fun and engaging way.
Early Days
Marymead Autism Centre has registered Early Days facilitators to run Early Days workshops.
Family Support Group
The Marymead Autism Centre Family Support Group is for parents, carers and relatives who support family members who are on the autism spectrum.
Lego Builders
The LEGO® Builders' Group is a free group for children aged 5 years and up on the autism spectrum and their siblings.
Men's Support Group
This group is for young men, men on the autism spectrum and fathers of children on the autism spectrum.
Professional Development
Marymead Autism Centre has autism workshop options available for your organisation to build your team's capacity to understand autism and implement support strategies.
The Lab
Marymead Autism Centre has started delivering a new technology club for kids on the autism spectrum, The Lab.
Women's Support Group
Facilitated by Yenn Purkis, the group offers support to women on the autism spectrum.

About the Autism Centre

Marymead Autism Centre celebrates diversity, promotes awareness and inclusion, and supports people on the Autism spectrum and their families. 

On 25 August 2016, Autism Asperger ACT (AAACT) merged with Marymead and became the Marymead Autism Centre, a program within the Skills Development & Community Engagement Unit of Marymead.

Please note that you or your child do not need to have a formal diagnosis of autism to access our services.
