Carley has worked in clinical and leadership positions across the Community Services Sector for the past ten years. Her experience spans early intervention, disability, out of home care and mental health services. Carley is a passionate advocate for children, young people and families, promoting the removal of barriers to service to ensure each person receives the individualised support and care they need to thrive.
Carley joined Marymead in 2019 as the Early Intervention Team Leader, supporting Marymead’s mental health and attachment teams within the ACT office. Carley feels her commitment to the preservation of positive mental health outcomes aligns well with Marymead’s vision. In her appointment as Mental Health and Wellbeing Unit Manager, Carley hopes to empower others and channel her communication skills to raise awareness of the importance of early intervention and the necessity to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
Carley holds qualifications in Psychology and Business Administration. She is particularly interested in neuroplasticity and attachment systems.
