Marymead’s Kids’ Companions Program provides quality social support and group activities to children and young people who experience social isolation because of the impact of disability or mental illness within their family.

Through participation in Kids’ Companions activities, children and young people have the opportunity to develop and build:

  • Social skills with peers
  • Friendships
  • Resilience
  • Leadership and peer mentoring skills
  • Health and wellbeing
