The Seasons for Growth Program is an evidence-based grief, change and loss group. It uses the imagery of the seasons to help a young person understand that change and loss are part of life, and grief is a normal response to these losses.

For children and young people, it can be hard to understand their emotions at these difficult times, the metaphor of the seasons provides a vivid, symbolic framework for exploring the experience of change and loss.

Seasons for Growth explores the impact of change and loss in every-day living and offers new ways to respond and manage these changes. It provides an opportunity for participants to process their experience and learn knowledge and skills to build emotional literacy and resilience.
